An opportunity to buy, design and build on a plot of land in Haarlem. After much hard work, we unfortunately got outbid on the sale of the land. 

On the plot was an existing dilapidated house, which would have been demolished. The design would have closed the gap in the urban fabric, adding a 3 bedroom contemporary home in it's place which reflected on the current brick aesthetic of the neighbourhood. We strove for this home to be energy neutral and to add to the biodiversity with planter boxes incorporated into the southern facade, and accessible roof alongside solar panels.
